‘Hide behind bat…’ KL Rahul & Jasprit Bumrah hilarious banter sets tone for IND vs SA

Rahul and Bumrah were training for the first IND vs SA test on December 26 in Cape Town.

Ahead of the crucial IND vs SA Test series, KL Rahul and Jasprit Bumrah are practicing together to get back into their groove. A couple of days ago, Rahul had uploaded a video of him practicing for the 2-match Test series starting on December 26. Now, the star wicketkepper batter has showed up a glimpse of his adrious drills ahead of the tour with his friend, Jasprit Bumrah joining him.

Rahul started his practice running and fitness drills, which knocked the wind out of him and almost made him vomit. After the batter finished his warm-up, the pacer then joined his teammates, and that’s where the fun began. KL Rahul then proclaimed while talking to the camera, “I guarantee you Bumrah is going to mention how hard a fast bowler’s life is.”

Then, 5 minute later, what KL said came true. While the batter was padding up to bat, Bumrah hilarious quipped, “your job is easier, to bat. Hide behind a bat.”

Rahul then looked at the camera and said, “what did I tell you”? Did I call this or no?”
