Harbhajan Singh Announces Retirement: He is likely to take up the coaching role as stated by him during the IPL 2021 season.

“Don’t know If I’m gonna play further but enjoying my time in KKR,” he said during the on-air interview to IPL broadcaster Star Sports.

“Cricket has been the biggest thing that happened to me, would like to serve Indian cricket in whatever way I can. Whether it’s coaching or mentor, I’d be more than happy to do the needful and help the team,” he had added.

The 40-year-old will bring vast experience to the coaching role with his possible new franchise. Harbhajan Singh is among the few cricketers to take 150 wickets in the IPL which came at a brilliant economy rate of 7.07.

The Turnbanator went on to play for a number of IPL franchises including Mumbai Indians, CSK and KKR during his stint. He also led MI in 20 games and won 10 matches. The off-spinner went on to earn Rs 58.14 crore in the cash-rich league.
