IPL 2024: Ahead of Indian Premier League, Gujarat Titans' 3.6 cr worth Robin Minz suffers superbike accident

Gujarat Titans new addition Robin Minz has met with a an accident. While riding his superbike he met with an accident. Robin’s father has confirmed that his son is currently under observation. Minz was bought by Gujarat Titans in IPL 2024 for a whopping sum of 3.6 Cr.

“He lost control when his bike came in contact with another bike. Nothing serious at the moment and he is currently under observation,” Francis Minz, Robin’s father told News18.

Robin Minz made the headlines when he was bought by Gujarat Titans during the IPL 2024 Auction. GT broke the bank for the 21-year old, and bought him for a whopping price of 3.6 crores.

The southpaw from Jharkhand suffered a mega bike accident. It is reported that Robin Minz suffered bruises on his right knee. It is also reported that the front half of his superbike was been wreaked.

Robin Minz is a die hard MS Dhoni fan. Like his idol he too his a hard hitting batter. Minz is yet to play in Ranji Trophy for his state. But he is involved in the U19 and U25 Jharkhand teams. Minz was slated to join GT training camp soon, but it remains to be seen if there would be a delay or not.

Gujarat Titans begin their IPL 2024 campaign on 24th March. They take on Mumbai Indians as a former GT skipper Hardik Pandya returns home as new skipper for the Mumbai outfits.
