Steve Smith continued his purple patch in English conditions on Wednesday. He went on to slam his 31st Test Century against India in the all important India vs Australia WTC Finals. The 34-year-old continued his stellar record against India, putting Shami and Co under pressure at The Oval.

Coming in to bat at the fall of David Warner’s wicket on Day 1, Smith held his end to anchor the Australian innings. While Travis Head continued to bat in a ‘Bazball’ way, the Australian vice-captain played a more Pujara-kind knock. The 34-year-old smashed his 38th Test Fifty taking 150 balls to reach the milestone.
