Delhi Capitals skipper Rishabh Pant has reached Dubai and he is set to be a part of the IPL 2024 Auction to be held on December 19 (Tuesday). Ahead of the event, Pant said that it will take a few more months to get back at 100% which means that the Southpaw might fully participate in the upcoming IPL 2024 instead of playing as an impact player.

“I think much better what i was doing few months. I am still on recovery but in few months of time I will be able to do it,” said Rishabh Pant in a video uploaded by Delhi Capitals. “I came here (Dubai) for the auction. As of now there are no expectations but really excited and looking forward because this is something new and I have never done it before but really exciting times ahead,” added. Pant.
Ahead of the IPL 2024, the biggest news that came out of the Delhi capitals’ camp was the return of Rishabh Pant, who was retained as a captain for IPL 2024. The franchise also retained David Warner, Prithvi Shaw, Anrich Nortje, Kuldeep Yadav, Axar Patel and Mitchell Marsh, among others.
Delhi have most bases covered but they will be on the lookout for an overseas fast-bowling all-rounder and an Indian wicketkeeper-batsman and an Indian power-hitter, who can play the role of a finisher.
