What happened on Day 2 of ENG vs IND 1st Test?

England ended Day 2 with 209/3, trailing India by 262 runs. Jasprit Bumrah gave a lifeline to Harry Brook with a no-ball. But he was the only bowler to get wickets for India. Bumrah removed Zak Crawley in the first over but England fought back with Ben Duckett and Ollie Pope adding a century stand.

While Bumrah dismissed Duckett, Pope scored a century to remain unbeaten. Duckett scored 62 while Joe Root fell to Bumrah for the 10th time, scoring 28. Earlier in the day, India folded for 471, despite Rishabh Pant scoring a century. India went from 430/3 to 471 all out in a batting collapse with Ben Stokes and Josh Tongue bagging four wickets each.
