‘Embarrassing’: Fans enraged as Mumbai Indians’ top-order falter against Rajasthan Royals

This is Mumbai Indians' first home game as they are coming off two back to back losses in IPL 2024

Hardik Pandya-led Mumbai Indians‘ misery in IPL 2024 continued as Trent Boult rattled MI’s top order. Former captain Rohit Sharma and Naman Dhir were dismissed just for a run with Mumbai lingering at 1/2 in one over. Mumbai were forced to show their cards early as brought in Dewald Brevis at No. 4, but it was not enough to ward away the threat from Boult who dismissed him for a duck as well. While Ishan Kishan looked to have held, he was dismissed soon with Mumbai at 20/4.

With Mumbai lingering at the bottom of the IPL standings after two consecutive losses in the opening encounter, the fans took to Twitter to express their dissatisfaction towards the team management and mostly captain Hardik Pandya.
