What the captain said?
Abhishek Malhan (Bangalore Bashers Captain): “Last season, we won four out of five tosses but lost four games overall. Interestingly, the only match where we lost the toss was the one we won. So, maybe losing the toss works in our favor. We will aim to hit the deck and bowl outside the off-stump. I would have elected to bowl first had I won the toss.”
Pushkar Raj Thakur (Kolkata Superstars Captain): “We will bat first. I reckon we can create pressure on them if we score a big total. We should look to score at least 180 runs; otherwise, it will put pressure on our bowlers. We have batters till the end, but our top five batters are dynamites.”
