The International Cricket Council (ICC) will induct 7 individuals into the Hall of Fame on June 9. Two Karnataka State Cricket Association (KSCA) officials have resigned after the Bengaluru stampede. Former India bowling coach believes Jasprit Bumrah can play all 5 Test matches between India and England. He also wants Arshdeep Singh and Kuldeep Yadav to feature in the first match. And lastly, Ricky Ponting has named his preferred batting lineup for India.

Shreyas Iyer back for T20Is
After his exploits in the Ranji Trophy, Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy, and IPL, Shreyas Iyer is likely to return to India’s Test and T20I teams soon. Although he wasn’t picked for the England Test series, in the coming months he’ll return to both formats. Not just that, he’s also being considered as a candidate to become India’s white-ball captain.

Jasprit Bumrah fit for 5 Tests
Former India bowling coach Bharat Arun believes that Jasprit Bumrah can play all five Test matches in England. He thinks that by managing practice sessions, working on recovery, and getting help from other bowlers, Bumrah can very well play all games. But if other bowlers don’t help him, he will be able to play just 3 matches, like Gautam Gambhir said.

Not RCB, KSCA officials resign
In the aftermath of the stampede outside M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru, KSCA secretary A. Shankar and treasurer E. S. Jairam have resigned. Both stated that it’s their ‘moral responsibility’ to step down after 11 people lost their lives and 50 others were left injured.

Sudharsan should open with Jaiswal
Current Punjab Kings head coach Ricky Ponting thinks that India should pick Sai Sudharsan as the second opener alongside Yashasvi Jaiswal over KL Rahul. He wants Rahul to bat at number three, as he’s India’s most experienced batter. And then wants Shubman Gill at four and Karun Nair at five.

Kuldeep Yadav & Arshdeep Singh for 1st Test
Bharat Arun wants Arshdeep Singh and Kuldeep Yadav to be named in India’s playing XI against England for the first Test. He thinks Arshdeep, being a skillful left-arm pacer, will benefit India. As for Kuldeep, Arun believes he can replicate what Shane Warne did for Australia in England and can use the rough in the second innings to trouble the hosts.
