Don’t dive: Jos Buttler & Co urged to avoid injury in ENG vs BAN in Dharamsala
England Cricket team have been advised to be careful while sliding on the pretty average Dharamshala outfield in their WC match against BAN.

Mujeeb Rahman’s slide and the fall during the Afghanistan vs Bangladesh match angered fans. The off-spinner was lucky to not have damaged his knee on the Dharamshala surface. Now, with England taking on Bangladesh tomorrow at the same venue, Skipper Jos Buttler & Co have been advised not to dive in Dharamshala’s surface.

Senior Journalist Matt Roller, who attended England’s pre-match conference before the game also shared a Twitter image of the state of the Dharamshala surface. By the looks of it, the pitch looks very average. Seeing the latest post, the fans got upset and started pointing fingers at BCCI secretary Jay Shah.

One of the users commented, “My colony ground has better grass than this.” Another one commented, “Almost as bad as England’s current form.” While another one said, “Worst outfield ever witnessed.”

To note, before the start of the World Cup, each of the WC venues were 50 Crores for renovation work. However, by the looks of the Dharamshala surface, there seems to be no re-work done. After the ENG vs BAN game tomorrow, three more matches are yet to be played on the Dharamshala ground.

In fact, ICC itself has reviewed the Dharamshala surface and has given an average rating.

Dharamshala ground in focus, as England take on Bangladesh

With ‘No Dive’ being strictly instructed to the England team, skipper Jos Butter wont take the risk of playing Ben Stokes. The talismanic all-rounder also missed England’s first game due to hip niggle. By the looks of it, Stokes is set to miss the second game also.

Speaking about England, they will be playing their first match on Dharamshala against Bangladesh tomorrow. Shakib Al Hasan & Co will be playing their second game at the same venue.
