The Deodhar Trophy 2023 is all set to begin on Monday, July 24. Organized by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), the tournament makes a comeback to the Indian domestic cricket calendar after a four-year break. For the first time since the 2014-15 season, the Deodhar Trophy 2023 will follow the inter-zonal format. Six teams, namely Central Zone, East Zone, North East Zone, North Zone, South Zone, and West Zone, will compete in a round-robin format, with each team playing against the others once.
The top two teams in the standings at the end of the league matches will qualify for the final. The matches will be held at three venues: Cricket Association Puducherry Siechem Ground, Cricket Association Puducherry Ground 2, and Cricket Association Puducherry Ground 3. The final match of the tournament is scheduled to take place at the Cricket Association Puducherry Siechem Ground on August 3.
