It was a Deja Vu moment for Sri Lanka as Mohammed Siraj came back to haunt the Lankan lions in IND vs SL Cricket World Cup clash at the Wankhede Stadium on Thursday. In his first seven deliveries, Siraj recreated the Asia Cup final with three wickets for no runs. And Miyan Magic had fans on their feet.
W 0 0 0 W 0 W: Mohammed Siraj in his first seven deliveries was lethal. He breathed fire with fast swinging deliveries to remind the former World champions of 50 all out in Asia Cup final. Mohammed Siraj bagged the fastest fifer in just 16 deliveries and finished with six wickets to demolish Lankans.

- 1.1: After Jasprit Bumrah opened the account with on the first delivery, it was time for Mohammed Siraj. The pacer went fast and full against Dimuth Karunaratne who hardly had time to react as the ball swung in a bit. And Siraj’s delivery stuck him on the pads. He did take the review but wasted as it was an easy decision to give him out.

- 3.1: With no runs in his first over and two wickets, Siraj did not waste any chance. In his 7th delivery to in-form Kusal Mendis, he cleaned up his stumps with a fast and full delivery. Mendis was completely beaten as he tried to block it on the back foot. In the process, he also broke the stump.
