Delhi Capitals will be praying that rain doesn’t play spoilsport in what will be a must-win game against MI. DC are currently fifth on the IPL 2025 points table and are battling with MI for the only spot left in IPL 2025 playoffs. However, with 90% chance of rain in Mumbai as per weather forecast, there is a high chance that the game could be washed out.

DC will miss the services of veteran pacer Mitchell Starc on what is expected to be a bouncy wicket at the Wankhede stadium. His replacement Mustafizur Rahman failed to create any impact whatsoever in the previous game and instead was taken to the cleaners by Sai Sudharsan and Shubman Gill.
DC are expected to field a batting heavy XI in the game against MI. Rahul will continue to open the innings along with Faf du Plessis. Axar Patel and co. will be pinning their hopes on the keeper-batter to replicate his feat from the previous game and score yet another century.
