Davis Cup 2023: Djokovic, Murray, Sinner headline action in Davis Cup Final 8

After ending the year as the World No.1, Novak Djokovic will soon be seen in action in the Davis Cup final 8. The 36-year old will lead Serbia in the quarterfinal that will begin in Malaga, Spain from 21st November 2023, Tuesday. Andy Murray and Jannik Sinner will also play for their respective countries in tournament.

The eight teams to feature in the upcoming tournament are Canada, Finland, Italy, Netherlands, Czech, Australia, Serbia and Great Britain. The final 8 will begin with Canada taking on Finland on Tuesday.

Czech Republic will face Australia on the next day. Meanwhile on 23rd, Italy and Netherlands will be up against each other. While Novak Djokovic’s Serbia will take on Andy Murray’s Great Britain in a blockbuster clash.

Novak Djokovic aims to guide Serbia to their second-ever Davis Cup title. Serbia failed to qualify for the quarterfinal in the last edition. Great Britain too did not reach the final 8 last year.

Italy meanwhile will be led by the young sensation Jannik Sinner. He recently finished as runner-up in the ATP Finals after losing to Djokovic. Sinner also finished the year as World No.4.

21st November – Canada vs. Finland – 8.30 PM

22nd November – Czech Republic vs. Australia – 8.30 PM

23rd November – Italy vs. Netherlands – 2.30 PM

23rd November – Serbia vs. Great Britain – 8.30 PM
