Why was Suresh Raina dropped?

IPL 2021 Final – Raina opted out of IPL 2020 citing personal reasons and made a comeback into the side with a fifty in IPL 2021. However, that was the only highlight of his season this year as he has scored just 160 runs in 12 games with an average of 17 and a strike rate of 125.00. He has not looked at his best in this season but CSK needed experience in the middle order. Thus team mangement turned towards Robin Uthappa in the later stages of the league.
