Meg Lanning takes DC to TOP
In the DY Patil Stadium, Delhi Capitals defeated Mumbai Indians by nine wickets in WPL 2o23 Match 18.
The bowlers’ united effort enabled DC to set the stage and hold Mumbai Indians to 109/8. The DC top order then launched into action, chasing down the mark in just nine overs to take the top spot in the points table.
Shikha Pandey (2/21), Jess Jonassen (2/25), and Marizanne Kapp (2/13) all contributed two wickets each for DC. After that, Shafali Verma (33 off 15) and Capsey (38 off 17) went on the rampage to end the chase quickly.
