For his part, Arjun did decently against Kolkata Knight Riders. Under immense pressure with legends like Sunil Gavaskar and Ravi Shastri watching apart from the presence of Chandrakant Pandit on the opposition dugout, he bowled two overs conceding 17 runs. MI owner Nita Ambani, India men’s captain Rohit Sharma, and women’s captain Harmanpreet Kaur were also present apart from his mentor Zaheer Khan, one of the best fast bowlers of India.

Arjun received overwhelming support from Sachin’s former teammates including Sourav Ganguly and Harbhajan Singh among others. With decent performance, he will now hope to retain his place in the Playing XI against Sunrisers Hyderabad on Tuesday.
