IND-W vs BAN-W Squads: Despite setting the stage on fire in Women’s Premier League (WPL), Royal Challengers Bangalore star Shreyanka Patil has not received a call-up for the Bangladesh tour. Among other big absentees, Rajeshwari Gayakwad, Renuka Thakur, Shikha Pandey, and Dayalan Hemalatha were the highlights. However, there are many new faces in the Harmanpreet Kaur-led side including Minnu Mani and Rashi Kanojiya.
However, despite naming the squad, there is no update on the India women’s team coach. The new coach is set to travel with the squad to Bangladesh. Former Mumbai skipper Amol Muzumdar is the frontrunner for the job. An announcement is expected before the team travels to Bangladesh.
