Cricket fraternity pays tribute to Pulwama Martyrs on 5th anniversary of attack

From Gautam Gambhir to Rishabh Pant, the cricket fraternity paid their tributes to brave soldiers on the 5th anniversary of the Pulwama attack.

On the 5th anniversary of the Pulwama terror attack, cricket fraternity, including the likes of Gautam Gambhir, and Rishabh Pant paid tribute to the soldiers who were martyred in the 2019 terrorist attack.

Remembering the ‘brave heroes’ killed in the attack, Indian cricketers took to social media to pay homage to bravehearts who sacrificed their lives to protect the nation.

“Real heroes are immortal!”, former Indian opener Gambhir posted on X (formerly Twitter).

“The supreme sacrifice of our heroes will never be forgotten. I pay my sincere homage to the martyrs of the Pulwama Attack”, Rishabh Pant tweeted.

“Never Forgive, Never Forget! Tribute to our soldiers who lost their lives in the Pulwama attack”, former India cricketer Manoj Tiwari posted.

On 14 February, 2019, 40 CRPF personnel were killed after a suicide bomber rammed explosive-laden vehicle into an Indian convoy in Kashmir’s Pulwama. The attack was carried out by Jaish-e-Mohammad – a Pakistan-based terror group.
