It will also be a chance for Pakistan to get their revenge after a 0-1 loss at home to Australia last year. Despite starting on a promising note in WTC 2021-23 cycle, Pakistan’s loss at home meant, fell behind in the WTC Final race. Pat Cummins-led Australia will instead face off against Rohit Sharma’s India in the 2nd WTC Final at Oval starting June 7.
Meg Lanning-led Australia women’s team will face off against West Indies starting October 1. They will play three-match T20 and ODI series. Following Windies series, Australia will host South Africa in a similar three-match ODI and T20 series. Australia will also play a one-off women’s Test between February 15-18 at WACA, Perth.
