Confidence going down: Rashid Latif disappointed with Babar Azam in AUS vs PAK series

Averaging of 20.37 in Test in 2023, Babar Azam has hit a slump. Rashid Latif was disappointed with how he got out in AUS vs PAK 2nd Test.

21, 14 & 1: Babar Azam has hit a rut in Test cricket with three disappointing scores in AUS vs PAK Test series. But the way he was bamboozled by Pat Cummins in the AUS vs PAK 2nd Test in Melbourne disappointed many. Former Pakistani player Rashid Latif was one of them. He was surprised by the way Babar got out and said the ex-Pakistan captain’s confidence is going down with every match.

“Confidence Level Going down match by match,” Rashid Latif tweeted.

Even though Babar Azam had good outings on the last Australia tour in 2019, he has hit a slump in Tests this year. In eight innings, he does not have a fifty, and his highest being only 39. That he has averaged just 20.37 in 2023 is a cause for concern.
