Came in a tough situation
She walked in at a tough moment in the match when the team was struggling during the power play. Mumbai Indians had lost two wickets for just 14 runs in the fifth over. That’s when Harmanpreet stepped up at No. 4 and anchored the innings brilliantly. She built a solid partnership with Nat Sciver-Brunt to rescue the team from a collapse. In the 2023 WPL final, she played against the same team but was dismissed for 37 runs, but it was a much-needed innings from her, which helped the team to clinch the trophy.
