Centurion of Centurion: KL Rahul sets new record with stunning ton in IND vs SA 1st Test

KL Rahul reached the three-figure mark with a six off pacer Gerald Coetzee on Day 2 of IND vs SA 1st Test at Centurion.

Team India’s wicketkeeper-batter, KL Rahul slammed a stunning century to rescue India on Day 2 of IND vs SA 1st Test in Centurion. Resuming on the overnight score of 70, Rahul was quick to get to his century.

He reached the three-figure mark with a six off pacer Gerald Coetzee. With his ton, KL became the first away batter to score two centuries at Centurion.

His first century came in 2021, when he scored a brilliant 123 as an opener. The 31-year-old also became the second Indian wicketkeeper after Rishabh Pant to hit a Test century in SENA countries.
