Carnage! Rajat Patidar smashes 4 consecutive sixes in an over, gives RCB an upper hand vs SRH

Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) batter Rajat Patidar wreaked havoc against the SunRisers Hyderabad (SRH) as he smashed four back-to-back sixes in an over

Rajat Patidar unleashed an innings of pure carnage in the ongoing Match 41 of IPL 2024 match between Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) and Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB).

Coming in after the dismissal of skipper Faf du Plessis, Patidar wasted no time in taking the attack to the SRH bowlers. Mayank Markande felt the full brunt of Patidar’s aggression early on. The 11th over was a display of Patidar’s dominance. Reading Markande like a book, Patidar launched a stunning assault, smashing four consecutive sixes over the ropes.

Patidar smashes 50 in only 19 balls vs SRH

This flurry of boundaries and sixes saw Patidar reach his fifty in a mere 19 balls, making it the joint-second-fastest fifty by an RCB batsman in the history of the IPL. Unfortunately for RCB, the 30-year-old was dismissed on his 20th ball as he was caught on the boundary off Jaydev Unadkat’s bowling.
