Brother called me: Musheer Khan reveals how he got to know about Sarfaraz Khan’s selection

Yesterday, Sarfaraz received his maiden Test call-up, and today Musheer scored his third consecutive fifty-plus score.

Right now, Musheer Khan and Sarfaraz Khan might be continents apart, but they have maintained their brotherly bond by doing what they do best: accumulating runs. After scoring his third consecutive fifty-plus score in the ongoing U19 World Cup, Musheer revealed how he got to know about his brother’s maiden Test call-up.

The aggressive right-handed batter expressed his desire to churn more runs, claiming he isn’t satisfied yet. Talking about his performance and desire for more, he said:

Want to thank the almighty. It’s a good feeling to get century, a good feeling. Now, I have to keep continuing this form in the next matches. Centuries give confidence to the batter. It allows him to go forward confidently when the matches get tougher.

On the India U19 team’s performance, he said:

This is a slower pitch, and our bowlers have been bowling well. They are in good form, and we are getting the results.

On how he got to know about his elder brother, Sarfaraz Khan got his maiden Test call-up for the IND vs ENG Test series, Musheer Khan said:

I got a call from my brother that he got selected to the Indian Squad for the Second Test.”
