Ahead of the Rajasthan Royals bs Gujrat Titans clash, cricket great Brian Lara has heaped praises for the Royals. Lara has claimed that Royals are his favourites at this moment and Gujarat defeating RR will be a rare occurrence. Sanju Samson and co are unbeaten and will look to continue their dominance in IPL 2024.

“Rajasthan is definitely outstanding and favourites for me. They’ve got everything covered. They’re playing good cricket and remain unbeaten so far in the tournament. I can’t see Gujarat Titans doing it tomorrow,” Brian Lara told Star Sports.
The Rajasthan outfits are the only side in the tournament to remain unbeaten. They have won their previous 4 games and occupies the top spot of the IPL 2024 Points Table. Lara further that RR are playing good cricket as they have covered every aspect of the game.
Ambati Rayudu backs GT
On the other hand, former Indian batter Ambati Rayudu however has pinned his hopes of Gujarat Titans. Shubman Gill and Co started of with 2 wins, 2 losses and finally a win in their last encounter. It will be a tough job for the last year’s finalists as they go head to head against an in-form Rajasthan Royals.
“Gujarat Titans is a superb side and so far they have managed really well. I don’t think anything changes in their squad or in terms of their mentality with these few defeats. I’m sure they’ll come back well, and purely based on the law of averages, I think Gujarat Titans are going to beat Rajasthan Royals,” Ambati Rayudu said.
