BPL 2024: Star South African batter Rassie van der Dussen has joined Rangpur Riders for the ongoing Bangladesh Premier League. Rassie van der Dussen is a big name in T20 cricket. He has played a total of 175 matches and scored 4911 runs at an average of 35.58 with a strike rate of 130.05. Meanwhile, Rangpur did not start the tournament well. They have lost two out of four matches.
Rangpur Riders journey in the ongoing BPL 2024 has been shaky so far. In their last match of Bangladesh Premier League, the Rangpur Riders met Durdanto Dhaka at the Sylhet International Cricket Stadium. In that match, Durdanto Dhaka won the toss and opted to bowl first. Batting first, Rangpur Riders posted 183 runs in their allotted 20 overs. At the end, Rangpur Riders won the match by 79 runs.
The inclusion of Rassie van der Dussen will also boost Rangpur Riders chances in the ongoing Bangladesh Premier League who already have some of the premier players in their line-up.
