Veteran Ashish Nehra lauded leg-spinner Ravi Bishnoi for performing well under testing bowling conditions in the IND vs AUS 2nd T20I played on November 26 (Sunday). In a match dominated by batters, Ravi Bishnoi ended up with three wickets and bowled well with wet ball at the Greenfield International Stadium in Thiruvananthapuram.

As mentioned above, Ashish Nehra lauded Ravi Bishnoi as he stated that the young spinner bowled well and also took the advantage of the scoreboard pressure. ‘It was not out of the reach (On the chase). To note, Ravi Bishnoi had a tough outing last time as he went for 54 runs in his four overs but managed to scalp one wicket in the opening clash. Speaking about Ravi Bishnoi overall numbers in T20Is, the 23-year-old has played 18 games and scalped 29 wickets with an excellent economy rate of 7.26.
Coming to the IND vs AUS match, team India posted 235 runs in their allotted 20 overs. This was the 5th highest total for team India in the 20-over format. It was also the highest total scored by team India in the IND vs AUS T20 matches so far. Yashasvi Jaiswal, Ishan Kishan Ruturaj Gaikwad smashed fifties with the bat. Skipper Suryakumar Yadav and team India’s new finisher Rinku Singh played excellent cameos with the bat. In the bowling department, Prasidh Krishna also made a decent comeback as he took three wickets for 41 runs in his allotted quota.
