RCB has made it to the second consecutive final; they take on GT in IPL 2026 summit clash, in Ahmedabad on Sunday, and the Rajat Patidar-led side has a real chance of pocketing yet another trophy. This title could mean a lot for the team and the fans, after having gone through turbulent times last year, where a stampede outside the Chinnaswamy Stadium killed 11 people. To keep the law and order under strict check, Bengaluru Police has come up with an advisory.
The city police has urged the public to avoid bursting crackers, holding road celebrations, and just avoid anything, that could create disturbances after the final on May 31. The public was also advised to follow the safety guideline, as per PTI. Meanwhile, even smaller details were covered in the guidelines.
The fans are also asked not to celebrate in public places. LED walls facing roads is banned, unless installed with prior permission. The existing LED walls are prohibited from showing the match. The police also instructed — that there should not be any screens outside the malls, pubs or any sort of establishments, that allows the public to watch the match. Most importantly, the guideline also prohibited provocative posts, hateful messages on social media.
“Under the pretext of the match result, fans of other teams should not be provoked, insulted, or engaged in behaviour that may lead to fights,” the advisory stated.
GT vs RCB final, IPL 2026
The Narendra Modi Stadium will host the final between the two sides, that has a spectator capacity of 1,30,000. Both the sides are in fine nick, but GT could eventually have the upper hand in the final, given the match will happen at their home venue. As for Bengaluru, they look great in both, batting and bowling and have no real concerns.
