Rajasthan Royals leg-spinner Yuzvendra Chahal is featuring in his 150th IPL match at the Sawai Mansingh stadium in Jaipur. On the glorious occasion, Rajasthan Royals posted a special message from none other than his wife, Dhanashree Verma. The Indian dancer and choreographer wished her husband in the video message.

In the video, Dhanashree congratulates Yuzi for completing 150 games, adding that she is super proud of the player, reiterating that RR is also super proud of him. She added that whenever there is pressure in the game, Yuzi is one bowler who takes the wicket. 

Yuzi, be who you are, believe in your craft, and your skill-set, we all are there to support you always,” she said. Adding that she is Yuzi’s biggest cheerleader and she will always support her husband. She ended the video by telling Yuzi to enjoy the match. 

History of Yuzi in the Indian Premier League

Yuzavendra Chahal started his IPL journey as Mumbai Indians signed him in 2011. His main opportunity came when Royal Challengers Bengaluru signed him in the 2014 edition. Previously, he won the purple cap in the 2022 edition. He was then signed by Rajasthan Royals in the 2022 edition. Yuzi has taken 195 wickets with an overall economy of 7.64. 

He has been exceptional for RR, claiming 8 wickets in 4 games so far. With an economy rate of just 6.36, he has controlled the flow of runs, which has also helped his team win all the 4 games in IPL 2024.
