BCCI Women Central Contracts: On eve of World Cup, Harmanpreet Kaur gets Grade A contract, Mithali Raj in Group B- check full list

  • BCCI finalised 17 players for the annual contracts.
  • Deepti Sharma and Rajeshwari Gayakwad have been promoted to Group A.
  • Veterans Mithali Raj, Jhulan Goswami retain their positions in Grade B
  • Smriti Mandhana and Poonam Yadav are also in Grade A with an annual salary of Rs 50 lakh.
  • Jemimah Rodrigues and Shikha Pandey have been demoted to Group C.
  • Sneh Rana is a new entrant who made it to Group C while  Pooja Vastrakar has been promoted to Group B.
  • Mansi Joshi and Radha Yadav have been axed from the BCCI Women Central Contracts list.

Women’s Central Contracts:

Grade A (INR 50 lakh): Harmanpreet Kaur, Smriti Mandhana, Poonam Yadav, Deepti Sharma, Rajeshwari Gayakwad

Grade B (INR 30 lakh): Mithali Raj, Jhulan Goswami, Tanya Bhatia, Shafali Verma, Pooja Vastrakar

Grade C (INR 10 lakh): Poonam Raut, Shikha Pandey, Jemimah Rodrigues, Richa Ghosh, Harleen Deol, Arundhati Reddy, Sneh Rana

India Women’s World Cup Squad: Mithali Raj (c), Harmanpreet Kaur (vc), Smriti Mandhana, Shafali Verma, Yastika Bhatia, Deepti Sharma, Richa Ghosh (wk), Sneh Rana, Jhulan Goswami, Pooja Vastrakar, Meghna Singh, Renuka Singh Thakur, Taniya Bhatia (wk), Rajeshwari Gayakwad, Poonam Yadav.

Reserve players: Sabbhineni Meghana, Ekta Bisht, Simran Dil Bahadur.
