Sydney Thunder vs Brisbane Heat Live
Both Sydney Thunders and Brisbane Heat had a successful campaign in the previous edition. With 7 wins & as many defeats, Brisbane Heat finished at 4th spot in the group round. On the opposite, Thunders ended up third in the points table with 8 wins and 6 defeats.
However, when both teams met in the knockout, the Thunders got the better of the Brisbane Heat and knocked them out of the tournament. Brisbane Heat then progressed to the Challenger but were eventually knocked out by runner ups Perth Scorchers.
Led Usman Khawaja, Sydney Thunders have plenty of power-hitters & experienced campaigners in the likes of Daniel Sams, Ben Cutting, Alex Hales, Sam Billings, and Saqib Mahmood in their ranks.
On the opposite, Brisbane Heat will rely upon the likes of Chris Lynn and Max Bryant for scoring runs and have Afghan spinner Mujeeb Ur Rahman and Mitchell Swepson to keep a check on the opposition batting lineup.
While both sides will look to go all guns blazing in their opening fixture, an evenly poised encounter is on cards for the fans.
