Babar Azam PSL teammate takes brutal dig at Virat Kohli, Know why

Babar Azam has found a support during the tough time as his PSL teammate Aamir Jamal has hit back at Babar's critics taking a dig at Kohli

Babar Azam has so far failed to live up to his lofty standards of the World Cup. In the five matches Pakistan has played in the showpiece event, the right-hand batter has only scored two fifties, which were not at his fluent best either. Worst, Babar’s captaincy is also under fire, and the experts are asking him to step down from the leadership role. However, former Pakistan cricketer Aamir Jamal has come out in support of Babar and has asked the skipper to be left alone.

Jamal took to Instagram and compared Babar’s dip in form to Kohli. Jamal said, “Kohli was out of form till 4 years, and nobody pointed fingers, but Babar Azam is out of form, and people are criticizing him.”

For the unversed, when Kohli was not amongst the runs, Pakistani skipper Azam came out in support of him and famously said, “This shall too pass.” Kohli turned things around in style and has now scored seven hundreds across formats in the past year. In this year’s World Cup also, Kohli is the second-highest run-scorer, amassing 354 runs in five games so far.
