After losing the AUS vs WI 1st T20I, West Indies won the toss on Sunday and put Australia to bat first. Captain Mitchell Marsh, batting at first down, scored a quickfire 29 of 12 balls but could not convert his start to a big score.

West Indies kept losing wickets at regular intervals in the chase. Opener Johnson Charles looked solid with his 11-ball 24 but lost his wicket trying to keep up with the required rate. Andre Russell started a late onslaught in the lower order. Russell looked in his elements and scored a 16-ball 37 but could not help his team go all the way. Captain Rovman Powell was the highest scorer for his team, scoring 63 of 36 balls but it wasn’t enough as West Indies lost the match and the series with quite some margin.
