All-rounder Sean Abbott put in a late charge with his 63-ball 69 to ensure Australia went past the 250 mark. The Aussies finished their innings at 258/9, and looked in a spot of bother.

However, West Indies could not capitalise on Australia’s batting failure as they kept losing wickets at regular intervals. Keacy Carty top-scored for the West Indies with 40 but other batters crumbled under pressure.

Sean Abbott was impressive with the ball too, taking 3 wickets, so did Josh Hazlewood.
