AUS vs PAK 2nd Test: Team Australia dominated Pakistan despite their fightback in the opening session of Day 2. Marnus Labuschagne and Mitchell Marsh managed to take the hosts past 300, but Shan Masood and Co. dismissed Australia’s last 7 wickets for just 131 runs.

Pakistan started their innings extremely well. At one point, the visitors were 124/1. However, skipper Pat Cummins had different things on his mind. Sending Babar Azam, Abdullah Shafique, and Salman Ali Agha back, Cummins restricted Pakistan to 194/6 by the end of play on Day 2.

Speaking more about opening day of AUS vs PAK 2nd Test, David Warner was given an early reprieve by Abdullah Shafique. The opening duo of Warner and Usman Khawaja then stitched a 90-run partnership before both openers were scalped in early succession.

Steve Smith (26 runs) also failed to convert his start as he was scalped by Aamer Jamal. For Pakistan, Hasan Ali, Jamal and Agha Salman scalped one wicket each. Ace pacer Shaheen Afridi failed once again to make any impact with the red cherry.
