Mohammad Hafeez: The General

Known for strict discipline, Mohammad Hafeez could not follow what he preached. Hafeez introduced steep fines for players who would fall asleep in dressing room.

He introduced $500 fine for players who would be found dozing off or yawning at the players area.

But his stringent SOPs did not make any players happy. Some of the players foundthe discipline was similar to how coaches treat U16 teams.

As per a Cricket Pakistan report, some players felt there was a lack of trust from the team management.

“The players seem to be grappling with the heightened restrictions and the apparent departure from the usual norms they are accustomed to,” Cricket Pakistan reported.
