Allowing him to bat at the top gives Stokes more chance to play a huge role with the bat. “Ben Stokes is someone we want to try to give as much opportunity to impact the game as possible,” Cricbuzz quoted Buttler as saying ahead of their clash against Australia.
“Try to get him up the order as high as we can, give him as much responsibility as possible, and allow him to play his way to get the best out of him.”

It is at that juncture that Australia vs England T20 series holds extra importance for the England team. Though Buttler also missed the T20 series against Pakistan, and has recovered to lead the side, all focus will be on Buttler.
The all-rounder can use this series to help get back to fitness before doing all out in the T20 World Cup. The best thing is that he will be playing against a strong Australian team. That will be a perfect test for Stokes. Also, the World Cup will be played in Australia, so this is an ideal situation for him to get back to rhythm and confidence.
A fit and in form Stokes can prove to be handy for England. He has the unique ability to win with both the bat and ball.
