The Asia Cup 2023 is just around the corner, set to showcase the top cricket teams from Asia in a series of matches scheduled from August 30 to September 17. The tournament will be played in the One Day International (ODI) format, which closely resembles the upcoming ICC Men’s 50-over World Cup. The main contenders vying for victory in this event include India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Afghanistan, and Nepal.

What’s unique about this Asia Cup edition is the adoption of a hybrid model, combining both home and away matches. Among the 13 matches scheduled, defending champions Sri Lanka will be hosting nine of them, while the remaining four matches will be held in Multan and Lahore, Pakistan.
