IND vs SL Asia Cup Final: Team India won their 8th Asia Cup title after thrashing defending champions Sri Lanka by 10 wickets on Sunday at the R. Premadasa Stadium in Colombo. After Mohammed Siraj’s 6-fer crumbled Sri Lanka for a mere 50 runs, the Men in Blue chased down the target in 6.1 overs to end their 5-year multi-nation trophy drought.
In the presentation ceremony that followed a host of awards were handed out to the top performers of the tournament with Team India bagging a $1,50,000 (approx. 1.24 crore) cash prize for winning the Asia Cup.

Player of the Match: Mohammed Siraj for picking 6/21.
Catch of the Match: Ravindra Jadeja for picking Pathum Nissanka
Player of the Series: Kuldeep Yadav for picking 9 wickets in tournament
Award for the grounds staff: Ground staff rewarded for their efforts in ensuring a successful completion of all the matches. They were presented with an award of $50,000.
Award for the runners-up- Sri Lanka get the runners-up prize money of $75,000.
Awards for winners: Team India get the runners-up prize money of $150,000.
