Following the fitness camp at the NCA, the India team will leave for Dubai on the 23rd where they will have yet another short camp before playing their opening game of the Asia Cup. India will begin their campaign against arch-rivals Pakistan on 28th August. Following the Pakistan clash, India will take on the winner of the Qualifier.

It is mandatory for teams to undergo a fitness test at the National camp ahead of a major tournament. Though the Indian senior and T20 team is enjoying a break, the players are now focussing on their upcoming tournament.
Meanwhile, Deepak Hooda and Avesh Khan, who are part of both Zimbabwe ODIs and the Asia Cup will travel directly to Dubai after the conclusion of the series on August 22. They will be exempt from the training camp and mandatory fitness test but will join up with the rest of the squad on August 23. Deepak Chahar will also make the trip having been named standby for the Asia Cup 2022.
