Ashwin struck to get rid of the dangerous Ollie Pope, thanks to skipper a stunning grab from Rohit Sharma in IND vs ENG 2nd Test

Ravichandran Ashwin struck to get rid of the dangerous Ollie Pope, thanks to skipper Rohit Sharma. The hosts got the second breakthrough of the day with the Hitman taking a screamer of a catch at the slips on Day 4 of IND vs ENG 2nd Test.

IND vs ENG: No scope for Pope

Skipper Sharma, who was at the slips, made a slight adjustment to getter a better view as Ashwin started to bowl. What happened next was a stunning sequence of events with Sharma showing excellent reflexes to complete a stunning catch.

Coming in to bat after the dismissal of nightwatchman Rehan Ahmed, Pope looked dangerous from ball number 1. He played various shots, including sweeps and reverse sweeps, in his short stint at the crease. With Crawley already blazing at the other end, Pope hoped to accelerate before Ashwin put the breaks on his knock.
