The only Ashes side to come back from losing the first two Tests and winning the series was Sir Don Bradman’s 1936-37 Australians.
While the batting has been the main issue for the tourists, their team selection too has been criticized a lot by the former greats. Joe Root didn’t opt for a spinner in the pink/ball Test at Adelaide despite knowing it will offer some assistance to the spinners and as a result pacer Ollie Robinson was seen trying some off-spin bowling. And, hence the tourists are said to go a couple of changes for the Boxing Day Test.
Meanwhile, Aussies will be bolstered with the return of their skipper Pat Cummins who is all set to return to the playing XI after completing seven days of isolation. However, the doubt over Josh Hazlewood still remains as Scott Boland has been added to the squad.
