Arshdeep Singh strikes twice, misses out on hat-trick in 1st IND vs SA ODI

Arshdeep Singh struck twice in the first over of his spell and narrowly missed out on a hat-trick in the 1st IND vs SA ODI

Arshdeep Singh provided the perfect start for India with two consecutive strikes in his first over. South Africa won the toss and opted to bat in the first game of the white-ball series in Johannesburg.

Reeza Hendricks was Arshdeep’s first victim as he was bowled after he attempted to drag the delivery. He was dismissed for 0(8). Rassie van der Dussen was the next to follow, as we was trapped for an LBW in the very next delivery. The Proteas batsman reviewed the decision but it stayed the same (umpire’s call) and he had to continue walking.
