Ex-RCB owner Vijay Mallya revealed the names of the players, he would like to have in his dream team.

RCB might have won their first ever title in IPL 2025, in it’s 18-year history, but now they face bigger challenges in the seasons to come. The foremost will be, to prove that it was no fluke that the side won; and hence need to build even a stronger team. Ex-RCB owner Vijay Mallya, who has been in the news recently, after his longish public appearance on a podcast, revealed his dream team, or the players he would like to have in Bengaluru.

A Dream RCB Team

And no wonder, it had some Indian and IPL legends. “If dreams could come true, Jasprit Bumrah, Suryakumar Yadav, Rishabh Pant and KL Rahul. If I had these four, I wouldn’t need anybody else and would win the trophy,” Mallya said on Raj Shamani’s podcast on YouTube.

While Bumrah and Surya are integral parts of MI, Rahul could actually be a reality. Prior to the 2025 season, indirectly he had expressed his desire to play for the franchise. Nonetheless, he was bid for, by the DC team after not being retained by LSG. As for RCB, just about everything clicked for them in IPL 2025.

Perfect IPL 2025 Season

Virat Kohli went on to score 657 runs in 15 matches, followed by Phil Salt at 403. Aussie Josh Hazlewood was excellent with the ball and claimed 22 wickets in 12 matches for his side. Krunal Pandya bagged 17 wickets in only 15 matches, and reserved his best for the night of the final, where he returned with figures of 2/17 in his 4 overs.
