Irfan Pathan and Yusuf Pathan

The first brothers to play in the IPL were the Pathan brothers. In 2008, Yusuf and Irfan Pathans began their IPL careers. Irfan made his debut with Kings XI Punjab. He has taken 80 wickets in 103 matches. Yousuf Pathan had played for Rajasthan Royals in 2008 but he had been most impactful in Kolkata Knight Riders. Yousuf Pathan amassed 3204 runs and 48 wickets in 174 games.

Hardik Pandya and Krunal Pandya

The Pandya brothers are fond of Mumbai Indians. The franchise bought them into the side, and both did wonders for the team. Hardik Pandya was acquired by the Mumbai Indians in 2015 for a base price of Rs 10 lakh. He continued to play for the same team until 2021, when he went to the Gujarat Titans for two years. For the upcoming season, he has returned to his former team.

On the other hand, Krunal was picked by Mumbai in 2016 and he went on to play for the team till 2021. He is now with Lucknow Super Giants.

Tom Curran and Sam Curran

Sam Curran was more in demand for the 2019 season and was acquired by the PBKS for seven crores before playing two editions for CSK the following season. Tom is not currently participating in the IPL. Tom has played for three teams; Delhi Capitals, KKR, and Rajasthan Royals.

Shaun Marsh and Mitchell Marsh

Shaun Marsh has played PBKS from 2008 to 2017. Throughout his ten seasons with the team, he was an integral part of the team. Mitchell Marsh began his career with the Deccan Chargers and went on to play with the Pune Warriors India, RPS, SRH, and now DC.

Albie Morkel and Morne Morkel

Albie and Morne Morkel are the fifth brothers pair who have featured in IPL. Albie Morkel began his professional career with CSK in 2008 and was a reliable player in the starting X1. Later, in 2014, RCB brought him, and in 2015, Delhi Capitals acquired him. Morne Morkel has played for RR, RCB, and KKR.
