Check all Asia Cup 2023 Squads

Pakistan and Bangladesh have revealed their squads for the Asia Cup 2023, while the remaining participating teams are expected to announce their squads soon.

With Sri Lanka finally announcing their squad, all teams are now out for Asia Cup 2023. Sri Lanka are without Wanindu Hasaranga, Dushmantha Chameera as well as Dilshan Madushanka with injuries. Afghanistan dropped Naveen Ul Haq for Asia Cup 2023 but recalled up Karim Janat. The 2023 Asia Cup is set to take place from August 30 to September 17, spanning Sri Lanka and Pakistan. Following a prolonged delay, the schedule and venues for this continental tournament were finally confirmed last month.

Due to India’s decision not to play in Pakistan, the matches will be distributed between the two countries. Pakistan will host four matches, while Sri Lanka will host nine matches across four venues: Multan, Pallekele, Lahore, and Colombo. The tournament features six teams competing in the one-day format.

Alongside hosts Pakistan and Sri Lanka, the participating teams include India, Afghanistan, Bangladesh, and Nepal. These teams have been grouped into two sets of three. Group A consists of India, Pakistan, and Nepal, while Group B comprises Sri Lanka, Afghanistan, and Bangladesh.

The initial stage will see the top two teams from each group progressing to the Super Fours round. The ultimate title match is scheduled for September 17 at the R Premadasa Stadium, where the top two teams from the second round will vie for the championship.
