India vs Australia: Three-match ODI series against Australia great chance for India to prepare for World Cup

The series between India and Australia will take place after Asia Cup, which finishes on September 17. The three ODIs will be played ahead of World Cup warm-ups. The matches will be crucial for India as it aims to finetune the playing XI ahead of the World Cup. India are also set to kick off their World Cup campaign by playing against Australia on October 8 in Chennai.

Ahead of the blockbuster match, the three ODIs will give Rohit Sharma & Co a chance to identify the starting playing XI. With pitches in India aiding spinners more than pacers, it would not be a surprise if Rohit Sharma uses more slow bowlers in the form of Ravindra Jadeja, Axar Patel, Chahal, and Kuldeep Yadav.
