In a video going viral after his famous 160-run knock, Shafique was seen singing the song ‘Tera Mera Purna.’ The song originally sung by Pakistan singer Atif Aslam was a Bollywood hit and is a hit number. Shafique made full justice to the song by showing his skills.
He was seen using his singing skills coupled with guitar playing skills in the video. The song hails from the movie Awarapan, a Himesh Reshammiya starer from 2007.

Abdullah Shafique scored an unbeaten 160 to lead Pakistan to a record run chase and a four-wicket victory on Wednesday in a series-opening cricket test that went ahead despite a political and economic crisis in Sri Lanka.
His 408-ball innings contained six boundaries and a six in an innings, although he did get some reprieves. Shafique was lucky to survive an LBW appeal when he was on four. He was dropped on 135 when Dhananjaya de Silva missed a return catch and again on 151 as Pakistan closed in on the win.

Joins Elite company with 160 runs unbeaten knock
Abdullah Shafique became only the 2nd Pakistani batsman to lead the nation in a successful run chase in Test cricket. His unbeaten 158 led Pakistan to a record win in Galle in the 1st Test. With that, he entered the elite club of top scorers in a successful run chase in Test cricket with the likes of Don Bradman and Younis Khan.
