  • Mitchell Starc: The left arm will be looking to play for the first time in the league since 2015. The Starc has 34 wickets in 27 matches at a low economy of 7.17 while striking at 17.06 and will be one to watch out for. The Australian quick is in good form off-late and picked up 16 wickets in the recently concluded ODI World Cup 2023.
  • Harshal Patel: The expensive Indian pacer was released by RCB after his performance dipped in 2023. Patel did well in 2022, picking up 32 wickets (the IPL record), and is known for his bowling in the middle and death overs.

  • Pat Cummins: Pat Cummins has already done well in the league. Having played in 6 editions, he has taken 45 wickets in 42 matches. His batting in the IPL is perhaps the most surprising thing about the Australian quick. The pace bowling all-rounder strikes the ball at 152.21 and has scored the 3rd fastest 50 in the IPL.
  • Gerald Coetzee: The South African pace bowler was their highest wicket-taker at the ODI World Cup 2023. His speed and heart, along with the knack of picking wickets at regular intervals, will make him a highly sought-after bowler.
  • Lockie Ferguson: The Kiwi quick was out of touch in IPL 2023. He bowled just 46 balls and picked up just one wicket at an economy of 12.52 last season. After his performance in the 2023 World Cup, teams will be looking to grab him as he offers a high pace and picks up wickets consistently.
